Gary’s passion and enthusiasm continually challenge people to commit their lives in service to others.  His own life-long commitment to volunteerism has taken him literally around the world—-­ from inner city shelters to rural clinics, from refugee camps to mission hospitals. Wherever you find people in need, whether in the midst of disaster or war or poverty, you’ll find Dr. Morsch serving the poorest of the poor. In 1992, Dr. Morsch’s vision and energy helped found Heart to Heart International where he now serves as Chairman of the Board. This network of volunteers mobilizes resources to help address some of the most critical needs around the world. To support his involvement in humanitarian work, he also founded an organization of family physicians, who, like himself, desire the flexibility to practice medicine and devote time to volunteer opportunities. Docs Who Care now provides Family Practice and Emergency Room staffing for rural hospitals in 7 states.  Dr. Morsch has written 6 books that challenge us to look at our likenesses rather than our differences and celebrate the awesome power each individual has to make a positive difference in the world. Gary and his wife, Vickie, are the parents of four children, and the proud grandparents of nine grandchildren. They reside on a farm near Kansas City.
